C.O.T.N.A.B. the Chessington Occupational Therapy Neurological Assessment Battery is a fully validated battery of tests for the assessment of functional and perceptual dysfunction with neurological patients aged 16 upwards. C.O.T.N.A.B. tests for four functional areas:
Sensory-Motor Ability
Ability to follow instructions
Constructional Ability
Visual Perception
Includes three tests of increasing sensitivity (Twelve test in total).
Each test is scored for ability and time which is combined to give a measure of overall performance and a functional profile summary.
Each test has been standardised against a cross section of the population within the age ranges of 16-65 years and 65+ years for comparison with patients' test scores and has been validated against a group of head injured and stroke patients.
