A floor mounted bathing hoist with a detachable seat and mobile base.
The seat, when fitted to the mobile base, can be used to transfer the user to the bath where the seat is detached from the base and fixed to the arm of the bathing hoist.
It can then be raised over the edge and into the bath in the same way as the Mermaid Hoist.
In addition, the seat, when attached to the base may be used as a conventional mobile commode (with commode seat, arm supports and adjustable footrests).
The hoist is available in side fit and end fit options with electric and mechanical versions of each available.
The mechanical version is operated using a winding handle.
The electric models have a rechargeable and detachable battery with emergency stop button.
Fixings are supplied for fitting to wooden and concrete floors.
Supplied with Lap Strap for added safety.
